Hi Joseph,
I downloaded the PSD PainNet zip file and it installed no problems. Program works exactly as advertised. Makes me tickled pink to finally be able to work with PSD graphics without the high cost involved.
I am quite impressed with the quick response I received yesterday concerning the Usage Rights and again today with the issue of installation.
It's quite refreshing for a change to not have to wait 5 business days for a response.

Simple, intuitive, and innovative user interface - Every feature and user interface element was designed to be immediately intuitive and quickly learn able without assistance. In order to handle multiple images easily, PSD PaintNet uses a tabbed document interface. A live thumbnail of the image is displayed in a tabbed format instead of a dull text description. This makes navigation easy and quick.
Layers - You may think of layers as a stack of transparency slides that, when viewed together at the same time, form one image - one of the primary secrets to great graphics creation which is similar to that only found with expensive and complicated professional software ..... layers form the basis for a rich image and graphics composition experience.
Special Effects - for enhancing and perfecting your images there are many special effects included.
